Palhaça is a parish in the municipality of Oliveira do Bairro, Portugal.
Its village is located in the extreme northwest of the Municipality of Oliveira do Bairro, to which it currently belongs, 11 kilometers from the city that is the seat of the Municipality; it is based on a kind of small plateau, fertilíssimo from the agricultural point of view, for which it rises on all access roads, with the exception of the south which makes it communicate immediately with the center of Bairrada.
It is 15 kilometers from Aveiro, the headquarters of the district, the diocese and the district, and 45 kilometers from Coimbra with which it is more than once a day in communication.
In addition to the good road that crosses it from north to south, putting in contact the two cities indicated, another cuts in the east-west direction, connecting the beautiful city of Águeda, in the faldas of Caramulo, to the riverside village of Vagos.
Separating the parish of Palhaça from Nariz, but on the side of Vila Nova, extends a delectable depression, full of color viço that we call the Vale do Ribeirinho.
To the sides of Oiã, between Vila Nova and the pine forests of Águas-Boas, the Valleys of Adioga and Canas (Balcanas) extend. To the west, between Palhaça and Carregosa, the Barros, planted the vineyard, and gandra das Masseiras are extended.
